Record of Proceedings

Mayor Evangelista called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and invited all in attendance to join in the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag.

Council members Mr. Britton, Mr. Buck, Mr. Burgard, Mr. Toward and Mr. Vest were present. Also in attendance; Mayor Evangelista, Administrator Sample, Solicitor Murray, Fiscal and Officer Pinkert.

Representing Madison Township were Trustees Pete Wayman, Frank Ashton & Paul Brunner. Also in attendance on behalf of Madison Township were Administrator Advey, Zoning Inspector Lietch and Solicitor Graham.

Mayor Evangelista welcomed everyone and turned the floor over to Madison Township Administrator Advey. Administrator Advey welcomed everyone and introduced Al Shrader to give a presentation about forming a Joint Economical Development District (JEDD).

Al Shrader gave a presentation about forming a JEDD that included the benefits to each entity and the process for forming JEDD. He ended his presentation with a request to Mayor Evangelista and Village Council for preliminary negotiations about forming a JEDD.

Al Shrader answered questions from Council members and the audience about income taxes, what the money would be used for, who would be responsible for what and infrastructure saying at this point most topics are negotiable.

Mayor Evangelista said that he supports forming a committee for preliminary negotiations. Council agreed

Motion by Mr. Britton, seconded by Mr. Toward to adjourn. Roll call, 5 yeas. Meeting adjourned at 8:55pm.
