Minutes of Madison Village Meetings Held January 28 and 31, 2002

SPECIAL MEETING            January 28, 2002

Mayor Evangelista called the meeting to order.  Council members Mr. Britton, Mr. Burgard, Mr. Buck, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Toward were present. Mr. Loparo was absent.

Mayor Evangelista invited all in attendance to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance.

A motion was made by Mr. Britton for the purpose of interviewing and planning for a new Solicitor.  Mr. Toward seconded.  All present were in favor

Council adjourned into Executive Session to discuss and plan for the hiring of a Solicitor.

Council reconvened stating that interviews were complete. 

Mr. Burgard motioned for another Special Meeting on Thursday January 31, 2002 at 6:30 pm.  Mr. Britton seconded.  All present were in favor.

Mr. Britton motioned to adjourn the meeting.  Mr. Burgard seconded.  All present were in favor.

Mayor Evangelista called the meeting to order.  Council members Mr. Britton, Mr. Burgard, Mr. Buck, Mr. Smith and Mr. Toward were present.  Mr. Loparo was absent.

Mayor Evangelista invited all in attendance to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Smith made a motion to adjourn to Executive Session to interview for the open Solicitor position. Mr. Burgard seconded.  All present were in favor.

Council reconvened from Executive Session.  Roll call was taken and all Council Members were present.

Mayor Evangelista asked Council to be prepared to go into Executive Session at the February 4, 2002 regular meeting to further discuss the hiring of a Solicitor. 

Council reconvened and Mr. Britton made a motion to adjourn the meeting.   Mr. Burgard seconded.  All present were in favor.
