The Fiscal Officer is the Chief Financial Officer of the Village. He is responsible for all recording of proceedings of the Council, and all financial transactions of the Village. These would include receipt of all monies received by the Village, deposited in the designated depository, and properly recorded into the financial records. Payment of all obligations of the Village, including payrolls and the payment of bills incurred in the performance of the Village Services as covered by Purchase Orders and Blanket Certificates issued by the Fiscal Officer. He will ensure that all bank accounts are reconciled on monthly basis, as well as other investments. He is responsible for the investment of Village funds, with special attention to the liquidly and the security of such investments. The Fiscal Officer is also the Village Tax Administrator, which requires coordination with our tax service and collection of all taxes, current and delinquent. Every two (2) years, he will provide the financial records to the State Auditors for the Bi-Annual audit as required.
