  Mr. Hackenberg is the President and Managing Partner of the Painesville Law Firm of Baker, Hackenberg & Hennig Co., LPA. He is also the Law Director for Kirtland Hills Village.

  Mr. Hackenberg was previously Solicitor of Madison Village from 1971 to 1980. He was the Law Director of the City of Mentor for thirty years and has served as an Acting Judge in the Painesville Municipal Court. He is a former Mayor and President of Council of the City of Mentor and he also served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General representing Lakeland Community College.

  Mr. Hackenberg received his undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, the United States District Court and the United States Supreme Court.

  He is a member of numerous professional legal organizations, including the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers, the Ohio Municipal League, Ohio State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, National Health Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute.

  Mr. Hackenberg presently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Lake Hospital System and is its former Chairman.
